Knowing how to slide in Crimson Desert will help you get down steep slopes safely, and if you time it right, you can even do a bit of fancy dodging when you are facing groups of enemies. Do not slide over the edge of cliffs though, no amount of fancy footwork will save you from fall damage.
How to slide in Crimson Desert
To slide in Crimson Desert, you need to sprint at full speed and crouch while doing so. If you try to crouch while simply running, you will not slide. You must be sprinting (which will use up your Stamina) and then press crouch while you are still sprinting to get Kliff to slide.
Now, the angle of the slope or area you are sliding down will determine how long you can slide for. If you are sliding on a flat surface, then you will only typically go a short distance. However, if you are sliding down a steeper slope, then you will typically slide much further—just make sure you do not accidentally click another button that will stop Kliff’s momentum.
You can also slide on a horse once it reaches Level 3, and this is exactly how you will complete the 50m Slope Challenge.
